I have helped many adults to navigate life transitions, relationship and intimacy issues, family and career challenges, difficulties with self esteem and identity confusion, and the impacts of illness, loss, and stress. I am currently in psychoanalytic training at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy.

I also work with couples struggling with issues related to intimacy, communication, connection and trust and am a trained EFT therapist. I utilize this valuable attachment model to help couples identify the negative cycles of interaction they get caught in, to create greater security and closeness in their relationships and to foster deeper intimacy and clearer communication.

My experience has given me great respect for the power of psychotherapy and the change that can be born from a safe, honest and inquisitive therapeutic relationship. I believe that exploring the connections between underlying beliefs, emotions and personal narratives and present day problems can be a powerful tool for growth. In addition to my training as an individual and couples therapist I am trained as a yoga teacher and incorporate mindfulness theory and practice into my work when helpful.

Successful treatment relies on collaboration, connection and trust. Please call or email to schedule a free consultation to see how we might work together.
